Pubs Database

The database aims to list all the pubs and bars in the branch area. We are keen to use this as a tool to gather news and opinions: use the Send a comment links next to each entry in the list to send us news, views or updated information about that pub. CAMRA members can use the NBSS links to submit National Beer Scoring Scheme reports.

To see the full list simply leave the name and postcode fields blank and press the search button.

You can try to find a particular pub by typing part of a pub name. Note that we use the same naming rules as Good Beer Guide: articles such as The or Ye are omitted, "&" is used in preference to "and".

The database also contains some popular aliases and historical names for pubs. For example: if you search for baby then the Eagle & Child will be included in the results, because Bird & Baby is a known alias for that pub.

You can use the postcode search to find pubs in a given area, or near one another. If you are searching on a postcode area, such as OX1, enter a space at the end to avoid matching postcodes like OX13, OX14, etc. Noticing that the pubs on the Cowley Road all seem have postcodes that start OX4 1 you might search on that string to generate a handy list of pubs in that area.
